Founder, all things eSIM

Lee founded all things eSIM after one roaming bill too many, and built the price engine behind it — the one that reduces every travel data plan to a single comparable number: what it actually costs per gigabyte.

Background

Lee Dobson is the founder of all things eSIM, an independent comparison site for travel data plans. He built and runs the pricing engine that imports plans directly from providers every day and normalises each one to a real cost per gigabyte, so plans that are deliberately hard to compare can be ranked side by side.

That work means the recommendations on this site start from the whole market rather than from a shortlist. Where a plan is called "unlimited", the daily fair-use cap behind the word is read from the provider's own published policy and cited. Where a provider will not publish one, the guides say so.

all things eSIM takes affiliate commission on some outbound links. It has never taken payment for a ranking, and rankings are produced from the price data before any commercial consideration.

What that involves

  • Builds and maintains the daily plan importer behind all things eSIM
  • Tracks 14,000+ travel eSIM plans across 110+ destinations
  • Normalises every plan to a real cost per GB — the site's single comparison basis
  • Sources "unlimited" fair-use caps from providers' own published policies

The method behind every ranking is written up in full in how we rank.
